Apprenticeship is a builder of people. It takes the individual and develops the skill and knowledge to create the willing, capable craftsperson who builds the future for him or herself. It produces this change by utilizing instructors experienced in the trade as a  conduit for these skills and knowledge, as well as, in the job training with the journey level craftsperson. While the trades continually introduce new technologies and methods, and a career in the crafts spans these changes, apprenticeship provided the basics to a diversity of learning. The beauty within the apprenticeship system is the overlap of training, which builds the craftsperson who builds the future.
